Grey Matter Series Volume 1: The Story of Mark Trogmyer in the World of the Unknown

Earth 3176: Mark Trogmyer was born with the traditional morals and values that sets him apart from his own peers. Mark is brought into the World of the Unknown by the unlikeliest of people, Frank Burgesis an old man who randomly appears on his doorstep. Burgesis tells Mark that the World of the Unknown is full of magic, magical beings, and Evil or Grey Matter and that it has been prophesized that he is "the one," the last pure child on Earth. Within the prophecy, "The One," is man kinds last hope for the Earth and The World of the Unknown. If Mark is "the one," then he is the only one, who can change the evil hearts of many. Mark is also then informed that while learning lessons along the way, from the various clan leaders, to gain their loyalty, he must defeat the evil troll Nerogroben who has taken over the World of the Unknown, as supreme leader. A force to be reckoned with Nerogroben has a powerful army of loyal followers, and his powers and influence are spreading and darkening the realm. With the help of his guard and the various clan leaders, will Mark be able to unite these clans, who don’t get along because of a social hierarchy, and prove himself worthy as "the one"? Or is he doomed to suffer and fail because of the growing evil dark forces of distrust that have already started to plague over both these worlds?

Mark Trogmyer ventures into the World of the Unknown. This time Mark uncovers various secrets of his past, and present within Earth, the World of the Unknown, and the Spirit Realm, which shines some light into how his future could be and the existence of other realms. Mark also learns that things aren’t always what they seem to be as his life is going to be in very real danger. Sightings and witness reports have come forth of stories of Nerogroben’s return and a dark shadow that has been mysteriously hiding within the dark Grey Matter clouds resembling Mark himself. GMS Vols 1&2 SPECIAL EDITION

Mark Trogmyer is supposed to be the last pure child on Earth with the traditional morals and values that set him apart from those of his age. Mark is brought into the World of the Unknown by the unlikeliest of people, Frank Burgesis. Burgesis is an old man who randomly appears onto Mark's doorstep and tells him to meet him that night when everyone is asleep. Burgesis takes Mark into the World of the Unknown and its explained to him that it may be him that's prophesized to be "the one," to rid both Earth and the World of the Unknown of Grey Matter or clouds of evil. Grey Matter in the World of the Unknown is the physical form of sin, for every evil act done a volume of clouds form and it affects peoples judgement. Mark is also informed that while learning lessons along the way from 17 different clan leaders that rule in the World of the Unknown, he is supposed to prove his purity of heart. These lessons learned will sway the Clan Leader to show their clans that they have someone worthy to follow to fight Nerogroben. Nerogroben is an evil troll whom has taken over the World of the Unknown with his loyalists. Trolls are considered at the bottom of the Social hierarchy within the realm of the World of the Unknown. Nerogroben has deemed himself the Supreme Ruler over all of the World of the Unknown and anyone who doesn't follow him is tortured and or killed. Marks job is to fight Nerogroben and his army of loyalists and rid the world of Grey Matter with support of the clans. When Mark lands into the World of the Unknown, he turns into a Magical Human Elf and is taught Elemental Magic which are sourced through tattoos or Magimarks which are given to you and are based off your conscience. Will Mark have what it takes to accomplish his destiny or will he fail like the others before him?

The City of Sandglass is a city unlike any other. Future Earth, the Creator decided to make Four cities spread far apart. The Cities are run by 13 elected council members representing each hour and they all have 60 Timekeepers who represent the minutes in an hour police the streets within the city and keep the peace and report back to their respective councils. Within the city limits everyone is given a random amount of “extra time to live after they have died on Earth. The big difference between Earth in the future and this city is, you know when you are going to die to the exact second. You can choose to show others or keep it hidden. You can gain time by being kind, and helpful to others and by working, or getting it as gifts from others, but you can also lose time through crime, and from the council for being evil and killing others and taking time by stealing from others as well. You can still get sick in this city make no mistake, but you won't die until your time runs out. Time is also a currency in this city. You can make time by selling goods and services to others as well by the second. The Creator after three days may allow them to be brought here. This Realm is not connected to the Earth in that any one cannot just come into the City of Sandglasses. You are either born or brought into this city to live a life that you never had a chance to live fully on Earth. Bellatrix Kai is not your typical 15-year-old girl, she has been through some true horrors. Horrors that not even a typical 15-year-old goes through. She is faced so much against all odds. Her parents oversee the Village of Paska just outside one of the City of Sandglass Called Time.
